Indonesia was colonized by Dutch for 300 years and they left some old buildings. The classic Dutch style is one of my favorite architectural designs. Colonial-style houses usually has high double-door and wide equal leg arch windows. It also has two galleries, in the front of the house and the backside. The patio, where usually the owner had tea-time while enjoying the afternoon sky. Depending to the height of the door and window, the walls are also usually designed to be much higher.
I remember my visit to Linggarjati Agreement museum in Linggarjati village, near Kuningan. I found a piano in the living room which was used for the agreement discussion. It simply reminds me to colonial-style houses which own piano within.
